Tori Schoore joined the Medical Imaging and Radiologic Sciences program at °µºÚ±¬ÁÏÍø in 2022, initially serving as a Lab Specialist before advancing to Clinical Coordinator and now Program Director of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Tori began her career as a clinical sonographer, working in both a level II trauma center and Indiana’s largest pediatric healthcare network. She brings extensive experience in abdominal, gynecological, obstetric, vascular, and pediatric sonography, with a strong foundation in high‑acuity and pediatric outpatient imaging environments.
She earned an Associate of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Jackson College in 2017 and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology from °µºÚ±¬ÁÏÍø Kokomo in 2023. Tori completed her Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum at °µºÚ±¬ÁÏÍø Indianapolis in 2026, strengthening her expertise in curriculum design, instructional methodology, and learner-centered pedagogy.
In her leadership role at IU Fort Wayne, Tori is committed to cultivating competent, compassionate, and confident future sonographers through a blend of rigorous clinical preparation and intentional mentorship. She prioritizes a learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow into reflective healthcare professionals. As Program Director, she leads curriculum development, oversees clinical partnerships, and advances program initiatives that strengthen student success and elevate the quality of sonography education.
Beyond her direct work with students, Tori is actively engaged in campus initiatives, professional service, and community involvement. She participates in a variety of committees, outreach events, and interprofessional activities that support student belonging, program visibility, and collaborative learning across the health sciences. This work enhances student support systems, strengthens interdisciplinary relationships, and models the professional engagement expected of future healthcare leaders.
